Comments[edit]

Seems to me that this article only needs the notable Freys. About 15 of the names listed here only have one sentence of description and almost no importance in the series.Captain Crawdad 21:47, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I know, it just seems that all of the sons should be listed, and the heirs, or anyone else with importance. Ill add big and little walder and stop there.--AeomMai 22:00, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, I've reformatted the article to give more focus on the Freys with the most face-time in the story. I also added Walder Rivers, since he seems to be a member of the house as well, despite his birth. The rest of the Freys from the original article I put in bulletpoints with the same format that other ASOIAF articles use for minor characters. If any of those characters become more important in later books, they can be bumped up to the first section. This way we keep the article neat but don't lose any content.Captain Crawdad 04:54, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nice, i didnt think of that.--AeomMai 20:56, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fat Walda is Merret's daughter, sister to Gatehouse Ami.--Anonymous GRRM Fan

Freys in Tags of Other Articles[edit]

This article needs to get linked in those tags at the bottom of other ASOIAF articles along with the other houses, but I don't know how to modify them. Captain Crawdad 18:16, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ill do it--AeomMai 21:51, 16 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well now the Frey page HAS the tags, but it's not IN the tags. It sould be linked along with the Arryns, Baratheons, Greyjoys, etc. Captain Crawdad 20:09, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK, i'll see what I can do.--AeomMai 20:16, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've added the Freys to the template. 71.254.107.249 20:47, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Right, thanks.--AeomMai 21:22, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Citation Needed[edit]

I recall Cersei getting a bird in one of her chapters that the Late Lord Frey had finally actually become the late Lord Frey. Having said that, I only recall seeing it once despite multiple read-throughs; and while Stevron oh wait he's dead Ryman Frey comes to take possession of Riverrun, that's not proof in itself of Old Walder having bit the big one. Can anybody reassure me that I'm not misremembering? ~Marblespire (talk) 19:56, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

She speculates that he'll die soon after receiving a letter in which he demands more land and honors, but there's never an actual report of his death so far as I can recall or see while skimming. A number of other deaths (the high septon, Davos Seaworth, Balon Greyjoy) are reported or mentioned in the same chapter; that may be what you're thinking of. Lord Walder is still referred to as being alive as late as the last Jaime chapter. Brendan Moody (talk) 20:52, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
