What Nilsen might have said, for the meaning of the word is irrelevant. According to en:wiktionary:gay#English the term can in fact be used for both genders, it however is "especially used for male persons". --88.130.114.31 (talk) 15:35, 4 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
This article tells us Nilsen makes youtube videos and that she started doing it to share her feeling of confidence. But there is absolutely no indication of what she actually does in these videos! The article is tagged "American people of Norwegian descent", which, considering the name is very likely to be true, but there is nothing in the article which backs it up. I think this is a problem with many similar articles, i.e. using categories without using a reference and/or commenting on it in the article. Where is the proof? Dag T.
