Ryan Coogler developing the series with Hodge[edit]

According to cast member Anthony Ramos, Coogler has some type of role in this series, maybe as a producer, director or writer, but he is involved in some shape or form. Ramos stated so in this interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ef_BPCDiT4&t=62s -TrixieCat123 (User talk:TrixieCat123) 23:39, 28 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Start of some filming[edit]

According to a tweet from Filming in Chicago, Ironheart has started some filming over the weekend, and said it appeared to be for test shots or B roll/plate shots. Screen Magazine says filming will occur in Atlanta and Chicago in June, and that it could start on June 20. Trailblazer101 (talk) 23:16, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have added the filming details. Screen says their sources told them of the June 20 start date, which has been listed by Production List. Best to keep an eye out for any filming details as we get closer to that date. Trailblazer101 (talk) 20:56, 24 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Anthony Ramos plays The Hood[edit]

Set photos proves that Anthony Ramos is playing the Marvel Villain The Hood. https://comicbook.com/marvel/news/ironheart-the-hood-parker-robbins-mcu-arrival-anthony-ramos/ 2A00:1F:9300:1D01:DC4D:19F2:26C4:59FB (talk) 14:41, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

We need a reliable source stating that he's playing the Hood for it to be added to the article. Even if it looks like he is, there isn't anything we can do without the source -- Zoo (talk) 16:10, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
CBR's article doesn't directly take the images from Just Jared if we want to consider that as our source, but they are the same images. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 16:01, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
We definitely could go with the CBR article, but should only state the role as "The Hood". Trailblazer101 (talk) 20:27, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I also think the CBR source is good for now. Can always update it in the future. -- Zoo (talk) 21:30, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
We can say that he was seen wearing a costume similar to the Hood's from the comics, but to say that this means he is actually playing the Hood is WP:SYNTH. - adamstom97 (talk) 20:07, 11 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That is fair. We should go with that route if we are to include any of this information. Trailblazer101 (talk) 20:23, 11 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I have now added the information on the set photos. Trailblazer101 (talk) 03:32, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

– All these articles use {{Distinguish}} at the top. They must be moved to their respective pages to avoid confusion. RMXY (talk) 02:22, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose: Distinguish is to aid in navigating between similar titles. Two of these requests do not even belong here, while there is a clear difference "Ironheart" and "The Iron Heart" in spacing and the addition of "the". If you look at the Ironheart DAB page, we also have three films with this similar title:
Ironheart (film), a 1992 martial arts film starring Bolo Yeung
The Iron Heart (1917 film) a lost silent film directed by George Fitzmaurice
The Iron Heart (1920 film), a silent film directed by Denison Clift
Notice for those that the first one is also not given the 1992 in its DAB. We should follow that precedent. These two titles are distinct enough that the regional DAB is not needed as the main title. Redirects for Ironheart (U.S. TV series), Ironheart (American TV series), and Ironheart (2024 TV series) would not hurt, although the hatnotes work just fine here; see Wikipedia:Disambiguation#Different spelling variants. Trailblazer101 (talk) 02:42, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also worth noting that per WP:NCTV the usage is "American TV series" and not "U.S. TV series". Gonnym (talk) 02:52, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that this would go to "Ironheart (American TV series)" if anywhere, but there is already enough disambiguation between "Ironheart" and "The Iron Heart". Not sure why the Scandal articles are listed here. - adamstom97 (talk) 03:17, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose I don't see any issue with the current naming. Like Adam said, there's enough of a difference between the two relevant articles in question. -- ZooBlazertalk 03:31, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose Classic case of WP:SMALLDETAILS. InfiniteNexus (talk) 05:29, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose Same reasoning as Infinite. These are clearly distinct enough titles where they don't need to be disambiguated. :3 F4U (they/it) 08:26, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - as others have said, this is a classic SMALLDETAILS situation. estar8806 (talk) 16:43, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per all above me. WP:SMALLDETAILS applies here. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 22:27, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose and WP:SNOW per all of the above. The titles are different enough so that no further disambiguation is needed. —El Millo (talk) 04:20, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment The nominator had previously nominated the two Scandal articles for moving only one month ago and it was nearly fully opposed, and they are now warned to respect consensus by not bundling it into other naming noms with nothing to do with other series.
