New edition with new ISBN[edit]

They seem to have just released a new edition of this book with a new ISBN. The cover has the word "Looks" in the title struck out, and the word "Was" in its place. But its "official" title seems to still be "...Looks". Is this supposed to be treated as a new book, or just a new edition? Do we update the ISBN and put the old ISBN somewhere? —AySz88\^-^ 07:42, 6 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This Statement is Incorrect[edit]

The preface to this article states, "The authors state that the current U.S. Congress has reached a state of basic gridlock due to both major American political parties moving to solidly left-wing and right-wing sides, leaving the center, and becoming "vehemently adversarial".

This appears to be diametrically opposed to what the authors showed in this book...that over the last several decades the Republican party has moved to radical extremes making effective government impossible.

If the authors did indeed make the statement in the preface, please provide a reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.46.213.24 (talk) 00:44, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I went ahead and deleted the statement since it's incorrect. The authors stated their views in this WaPo op-ed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.46.213.24 (talk) 01:21, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I wasn't signed in when I deleted that incorrect statement. I signed in now in case anyone wants to discuss. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jackcrossen (talkcontribs) 07:33, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for that correction ... it's hard to see that previous claim as anything but intentional disinformation. -- 72.205.126.89 (talk) 07:10, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
