Name Change/Move[edit]

Shouldn't we have a discussion before moving the page? Has their been enough evidence presented to justify moving the page from Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan to Jack Ryan (TV series)? I think the page should be reverted until a consensus is reached. BoogerD (talk) 00:04, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Character names[edit]

@BoogerD: I probably should have opened this discussion before I just reverted, but in any case I'm really not trying to be difficult about character names in the episode summaries. It feels right that we are calling Suleiman by his last name, but obviously we are also going with first names, like Cathy, Hanin, Victor. Jack and Greer seem like the proper names, consistency aside, but I see your point about consistency within sentences. I can get on board with the use of Ryan, but there would still be the same kind of inconsistency within sentences because of the other character first names. Thanks!— TAnthonyTalk 18:34, 4 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@TAnthony: Just so you know, I don't think you are trying to be difficult in the slightest. You are a dedicated and prolific editor so I will always been inclined to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are editing in good faith. As for what do with this issue: I think the path is clear. A decision needs to be made as whether the summaries are to refer to characters by their last names or by their first names. I have no strong opinion one way or the other but it would seem to be grammatically troubling to keep switching from first names to last names. Anyways, that's where I stand. – BoogerD (talk) 18:55, 4 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Season 2[edit]

Shouldn't episode summaries be added for season two's episodes? If we have them for season one, it should be good to stay consistent, especially since it came out 3 months ago now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Epmtunes (talkcontribs) 19:36, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
