How is Tough Crowd not mentioned in the opening?

That's just bizarre. You list like 90 things he's been in, then leave off the show where imo he made his name, and with which he's still associated by many people. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.121.2.165 (talk) 18:41, 14 December 2013 (UTC)

"self- defecation" in info box ? vandalism or inside joke 69.41.13.90 (talk) 14:09, 22 July 2014 (UTC)

Vandalism I guess. I've reverted that change. Thanks.--Cube lurker (talk) 14:14, 22 July 2014 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: moved. Largely due to the IP's reasoning, which has not been refuted. Jenks24 (talk) 12:42, 11 September 2014 (UTC)

Jim Norton (American comedian)Jim Norton (comedian) – Unnecessary disambiguation. The American comedian Jim Norton is far and away the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, as the other Jim/James Nortons are actors. -- Wikipedical (talk) 02:49, 3 September 2014 (UTC)

This is a contested technical request (permalink). Steel1943 (talk) 20:21, 2 September 2014 (UTC)
  • Comment The title includes "American" to distinguish from Jim Norton (actor), who is also a comedian. Please see the redirect page history.  Philg88 talk 19:14, 2 September 2014 (UTC)
  • Oppose. @Wikipedical: Also, I undid the edit that resulted in the redirect targeting Jim Norton (American comedian). Per Philg88, please see the redirect's edit history. Steel1943 (talk)|
    • @Steel1943:, I've seen the edit history, and I disagree with the redirect. I'm having a very hard time finding evidence that either James Norton (actor) (an actor, and one who goes by "James," not even Jim) or Jim Norton (Irish actor) – a character actor, not a standup or sketch comedian proper – do comedy. Being in a comedic film or play does not make one a comedian. The American comic Jim Norton is clearly the primary topic for comedic Jim or James Nortons, it's not even close. -- Wikipedical (talk) 02:47, 3 September 2014 (UTC)
  • Support, Jim Norton (comedian) (US) has little in common with James Norton (actor) (UK) or Jim Norton (Irish actor). See Jim Norton. I can't see any confusion and certainly not one that would not be instantly resolved at a glance at any of the pages. Gregkaye (talk) 20:11, 2 September 2014 (UTC)
  • Comment The requested title isn't a PRIMARYTOPIC title, as it still includes disambiguation. If this is the primary topic, why isn't the requested name Jim Norton ? -- 65.94.169.222 (talk) 06:27, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
    • Support NOT per nom. Nom has made a case that there are no other comedians subject to articles. But as the destination still carries disambiguation, it clearly isn't the primary topic. So move per WP:PRECISION, no other comedians covered by articles (note, I do consider acting in a comedy to be different from being a comedian). -- 65.94.169.222 (talk) 06:27, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
