After adding a link to John B. Keane and reading the style guide, I sought to apply the guide to this article. In so doing, I discovered (via Google) that there are two soldiers called John Keane and the US one is, perhaps, better known as Jack. So I have sought to distinguish them by (US soldier) and (British soldier). I also came across a Sir John Keane in Ireland.
