Third Force[edit]

I've got a ref that calls the mission "Third Force", but that page does not link here.

Is there sufficient support to create yet another Third Force page or is this ref in error?

This mission was part of a larger program called Third Force. It definitely is worthy of its own page if the author would explore the topic beyond this one incident. There is a 2017 book on the program, The CIA and Third Force Movements in China during the Early Cold War by Roger B. Jeans. Rublamb (talk) 00:54, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

New Britain Honors[edit]

The article fails to mention that New Britain, CT, Downey's adopted home town, named a street in his honor while he was in captivity. The street, 'John Downey Drive', was and remains a small business industrial park. His release and subsequent homecoming was a big deal in New Britain, and the street still bears his name.
