lake Oscawanna, hotel Shamrock in the 50's[edit]

Small lakeside hotel , mostly for Irish families..had a swimming dock, Rocky wall on lake to swim from.... in a small cove.. lovely small hotel with family style dining// very quiet no entertainment except for a bit of dancing after dinner in the dining room. does anyone remember it? I only know about the hotel in Abele Park that burned down some decades ago. There were definitely a lot of little hotels around the lake though. Maybe someone who can get on newspapers.com can find something about it. Recon rabbit 23:44, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
