Article recreation[edit]

Since the page has been contested previously, I want to point out that this is the first creation of this page with serious content.

This new article is not reposted content, and I just had an exchange with the most recent deleter and protector http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Can't_sleep,_clown_will_eat_me.

The exchange is here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Can%27t_sleep%2C_clown_will_eat_me#Lil.27_Bush_page

Events have created sufficient reason for article since last deletion, as I believe is now well documented in the article, considering it is a stub.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Aosxseedx (talkcontribs) 12:36, December 6, 2006

Explaining changes to "Odd facts and departures from real life"[edit]

I'm going to remove the statement "Jon Stewart has supported this show". I've seen no evidence of such. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Reinoe (talkcontribs) 17:43, 10 October 2007 (UTC) I'm re-removing the statement that Jon Stewart has approved of the show and will continue to do so until a source is provided proving otherwise. Reinoe (talk) 17:19, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am going to remove the following items from the section "Odd facts and departures from real life", for different reasons:

  1. Though voiced by a different person, Lil' Cheney's voice seems to be based on the impersonations of Jon Stewart who happens to be the star of another television show that airs on comedy central; The Daily Show.
  2. Lil' Condi has a crush on Lil' Bush.

Regarding the first: Uh, no. Please. Not remotely. At *best*, that's POV. It's also way, way wrong, but it's POV.

Regarding the second: Secretary Rice has publicly misreferred to President Bush as her "husband". It would seem that this item therefore might not be that much of a "departure from reality".

--Response to Cheney's voice

The comparison of Cheney to the Penguin/Burgess Meredith was popularly explored by The Daily Show, but here Cheney pontificates in more general "reh-reh-reh-REH" as opposed to quack/squack "Wah-Wah-Wah-Wah-Wah." Furthermore, Cheney will interject a semirelavent word ever so often in the middle of his "reh" chains, as seen in the second episode during the first invasion to Camp Al Queda: "reh-reh-reh-Rainbow Party-reh-reh-reh." I think it could be noted that the Daily Show first popularized this method of paroding Cheney, however I am only adding a comment concerning his word insertion. --Ames0005 04:25, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Character personalities[edit]

Should any exaggerated traits present in the characters be mentioned in this article, such as Cheney's savageness or Jeb's apperent mental retardation be mentioned in this article? 24.24.81.186 02:51, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dick Cheney's Father[edit]

Shouldn't the part about Dick Cheney's Father being Darth Vader be under "Cultural References" instead of "Departures from real life"? Themasta243 23:36, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Minor adjustments[edit]

Added "wrong side of the road" quotation under Lil' Tony Blair and removed marijuana reference from Lil' Barack Obama, as the item he is shown smoking is clearly a cigarette, as evidenced by the presence of a filter. Also deleted illegible comment. --Ames0005 04:25, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reducing Description[edit]

I'm compacting the descriptions of Jeb and episode 3 to size and format similiar to the others.--Ames0005 04:25, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"super deformed"[edit]

given that this term sounds really bizarre in that sentence, and the characterizations are probably not allusions to japanese animation, i'm changing it to "caricature". 71.60.151.41 05:52, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

big bush's response?[edit]

what does the real bush think of the show? not at all, probabaly, but still...

he might still consider himself to be a methodist, 'nuff said.

wrong information[edit]

The information about lil mikey moore is obviously wrong. Could someone edit it?

Comedy Central on "Season 2"[edit]

I'm not exactly sure how this should fit into the main article as I'm not really much of a wikipedia editor, so I'm putting the information here for somebody else to do it the right way. I asked about more episodes and here's Comedy Central's email response:

Rejoice! Lil Bush will be returning for a 2nd season though as of now a premiere date has not be determined. You can watch reruns on our network, just consult you local tv guide listing.

Thanks for the support!

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. "alternative reality"[edit]

I've only watched like 3 episodes of the first season, so I can't really make the respective edit. But have the words "alternative reality" been used in the show.

If not, I think we should only use "fictional version of the United States".

If noody replies in a week or so I'll make the change myself.--20-dude (talk) 04:01, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • "Alternative reality" is the correct term to use there. It is short and to the point Frank Anchor, (R-OH) (talk, contribs) 19:30, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Plans to continue the show?[edit]

Does anyone know if another season of the show has been ordered, or if it will continue after January 20, 2009, when Bush leaves office? 69.151.211.234 (talk) 18:38, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
