Unclear history[edit]

The last line of the article hints vaguely at an earlier history of Liquid-Plumr than P&G's ownership. Could someone familiar with its earlier history please flesh this out? For example who invented it and when? Any patent challenges by Drano? Etc. etc. Vaughan Pratt (talk) 16:42, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
