Finally, it's here! Today is the day that the fourth volume of the Digital Videodisc series Looney Tunes Golden Collection is out! Get those wallets out, cartoon fans! It costs between $60-$50! (Wha...?) Also, be prepared for some politically incorrect or rare shorts in the collection. (Have the "Walt Disney Treasures" and "Tom and Jerry Spotlight Collection" been released, yet? I don't know!) Get your DVD set today.

If you're wondering, by the way, how I actually made out---I wasn't actually able to find the original Looney Tunes Golden Collection: Volume 4. Thus, I was forced, for the first time, to buy the Looney Tunes Spotlight Collection version. While I enjoyed the restored shorts, there were only about 30 of them, instead of the 60 on the Golden Collection. Also, there was really only one bonus feature: a 10-minute travelogue parody showing clips that were mainly from cartoons that had already been restored and released in previous compilations! Hopefully, I'll have better luck finding the Looney Tunes Golden Collection: Volume 5. --- JS, 164.58.96.126 18:54, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Porky's Poultry Plant vs. The Unruly Hare

According to this article and TVShowsonDVD.com, the 14th short on the Frank Tashlin disc is his first short, Porky's Poultry Plant. On Amazon and DVDTalk, they list The Unruly Hare in place of that short. Does anyone own this collection and actually know which is correct? I lean towards The Unruly Hare since the DVDTalk article was a review of the set, but I'm not changing it until I get more concrete information.

EDIT: Amazon has pictures from the box set, and it does indeed show Porky's Poultry Plant.

Define "adequately covered"[edit]

One article for an ongoing annual series of box set collections is simply not enough. The articles for the individual volumes must be kept intact. Steelbeard1 (talk) 02:34, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

French release[edit]

This page used to claim that the only "complete" Region 2 version of this box set was released in France. However, according to http://www.dohtem.com/bugs/foreign/france/, only Volumes 1 and 2 were released in France, as individual discs much like other European territories. This puts the "citation needed" disclaimer (added in July 2017) to rest. TapLover (talk) 09:36, 12 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
