A fact from Louis Moe appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 29 December 2015 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Louis Moe's works include illustrations of literary classics (pictured), as well as paintings with decadent erotic motives, such as naked women with monsters or animals?

Thank you for the interest in this article, IP, and a very relevant comment. I think Louis Moe may not be known enough internationally to have his works officially translated into English, but I have now made my own literal translation of a few of his works and put them in parentheses in the text. This is certainly the English Wikipedia, but one feature of Wikipedia is that we will feature stuff from around the world not often covered in the English language; and then we get into the situation that some of it is not totally easily for English-speaking people to relate to or fully understand; but hopefully we also broaden persepective. Thanks for reporting this error. I have reported it further, so hopefully it will be fixed soon. Mistakes happen, also at Wikipedia, unfortunately. The author is Norwegian which is probably the reason for the grammatical error and regrettfully nobody else picked it up before it ended up on the front page (which features 16-24 DYK articles every day).
