Lupin the 3rd: Daisuke Jigen's Gravestone[edit]

What to do with this film? While a two part OVA it had a theatrical premiere, its a direct continuation of The Woman Called Fujiko so do we class it as an OVA continuation and put it on this page or a new film page? http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2014-04-17/lupin-the-iiird/daisuke-jigen-gravestone-anime-film-1st-teaser-posted WatcherZero (talk) 04:09, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Just realized after watching the ending its also a direct prequel to 1978's The Mystery of Mamo with a Mamo cameo and explaining why Zenigata was hunting for Lupins body in that film. WatcherZero (talk) 05:02, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I actually think it's too early to tell. The reason I say that is Plot of the Fuma Clan had a similar release of being an "OVA" but being shown in theatres first. That tends to be spoken of as an OVA but is still listed as a film in some Lupin listings. It doesn't help that TMS are responsible for the confusion in the first place, it caused confusion as soon as it was announced. Either way i think it's too early to split it out, we really need more coverage that isn't simply announcements. SephyTheThird (talk) 05:10, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

No plot?[edit]

I was close to up it to "C" when I noticed a traditional section was missing: the plot. As I don't know the series, I ask: is there no overarching plot at all or is it just a matter of someone writing it? If there is no overarching plot, I think this fact should be at least mentioned in some "overview" like Mushishi. Gabriel Yuji (talk) 02:05, 1 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
