Why not a page for Adam Richman?[edit]

Doesn't Adam Richman deserve a page of his own? What Wikpedia principle has him redirecting here? Jyoshimi (talk) 23:41, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Do you know enough about Adam Richman to make a wikipedia quality article? FearNotMan (talk) 00:22, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Adam Richman (actor) redirects to the Man v. Food article because nobody has written an article for Adam Richman (actor) yet and it makes more sense to send readers here than a dead end, plain and simple. There are certainly enough facts and references available here and online to write a solid article about Adam so, if you're so inclined, please feel free to give Adam his own article. - Dravecky (talk) 07:07, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good. I just put something together from material on this page. Cheers. Jyoshimi (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 01:53, 29 March 2009 (UTC).[reply]

This article (plagiarised) in the news![edit]

Well, pieces of it, anyway. While searching for news articles to better source and expand Man v. Food and related articles, I found a review by Jeff White that sounded strangely familiar.

Man v. Food
The weekly series premiered on December 3, 2008, [...] on the Travel Channel on Wednesdays at 10:00 PM Eastern time. The first season of Man v. Food was initially picked up for 10 episodes and then, after initial ratings success, an additional 8 episodes were ordered.

Carnivore[edit]

Would Man v. Food: Carnivore Edition be part of season 2? It just primered yesterday--A-spices (talk) 21:26, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If it's part of the Man vs. Food series, which this is, it should be included. --132 22:25, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not part of season 2, but with Live and Carnivore (which is really a series of clip shows) a Man v. Food (specials) article is probably warranted. I've been very busy of late and slack in my usual thorough search for reliable sources for this show. - Dravecky (talk) 01:32, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Season 3[edit]

Adam visited Melt Bar & Grilled here in Cleveland. I recognized the owner from the travel channel promo and the restaurants website confirms it.

Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until the episode airs or something by the network is released. Recognizing the owner from a promo and the restaurant claiming it'll be featured is considered original research that can't be verified. --132 19:56, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bad Stats or Bad Description[edit]

As of the writing of this discussion note, the description of season three lists Adam Richman having LESS wins than he did in season two. This is either an elaborate prank or someone owns a TARDIS and went back to reverse a victory; UNLESS this is not meant to be the running tally. Perhaps both the season tally and the overall record should be listed for each one to avoid confusion. 68.225.171.64 (talk) 00:53, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No more food challenges[edit]

This article says that Richman no longer participates in food challenges.»NMajdan·talk 18:16, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Expert?[edit]

I disagree with the fact that he is listed as a 'self educated food expert'. An enthusiast yes but I dont know of anyone who would consider him a food expert apart from the sort of people who consider the Big Mac to be the epitome of fine cuisine — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eggilicious (talkcontribs) 01:16, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Season 5 (MVF Nation 2)[edit]

Season 5, or season 2 of Man v. Food Nation began last night; it seems that although Adam Richman is retiring, he's still coaching others. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.156.10.9 (talk) 20:31, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
