Should his role in Scream be mentioned as one of his most "well-known" roles?
I mean, it was, if I recall, one of the most successful horror franchises in history, and his performance in the climax scene was certainly memorable and has been parodied a number of times.

Personally I remember him best from "Hackers" but I can't say for sure if any of his roles were more well known than others. I'd argue against the statement 'one of most "well-known" roles was in "Scream"'. How about "most recent high-profile"? Matthew Lillard[edit]

It has been said and well documented that Matthew Lyn Lillard did attend Fullerton Community College, in Fullerton, CA, USA - possibly in the 1990s. Mr. Jensen, of the Drama Department - and writer of Wahlenberg, an award winning black box play - at FCC did state that Matthew Lillard did go to school at Fullerton Community College, and did study acting there. Mr. Lillard even said so himself, in an MTV like mini-documentary about himself. In a clip from the show, one care see Matthew Lillard driving a car in Fullerton, CA, passing the Community College, saying "I went there". Orphaned references in Matthew Lillard[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Matthew Lillard's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Unclear/inaccurate wording[edit]

The article states: "He was cast in 1995 in one of five films that year, Hackers, which featured a group of high school kids who thwart a multi-million dollar corporate extortion conspiracy." This is a confusingly worded statement that lacks citation and conveys incorrect meaning. The plain meaning of the sentence is that only five movies were released in 1995, and Lillard was cast in one of them. In fact, Lillard appeared in five movies that year, and "Hackers" was one of them. A more accurate wording: "In 1995, Lillard appeared in five films, including 'Hackers,' a thriller about a group of high-school kids...."Jtcarpet (talk) 09:12, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
