Lyrics considered racist?[edit]

- Some of the lyrics do make you wince today, but "chink" wasn't considered a racial slur in British English in 1969. It was a neutral, and even affectionate, term for an ethnically Chinese person living in the UK. There were many terms in use then which were to become completely unacceptable during the next decade. Misleading title[edit]
