Notability[edit]

S.C. Candler owned... 12 slaves by 1850. By 1860, [he] owned... 17 slaves, and he leased another 19 slaves.

What is the notability of these slave-tallies? If they're meant to represent moral penalty-points, this ought to be stated. Valetude (talk) 21:32, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
