Whether "Make Your Mark" (the episode/special) should be italicized or in quotation marks[edit]

@Pamzeis, is there a particular reason that you changed "Make Your Mark" back to being italicized, i.e. ''Make Your Mark''? I don't disagree with this, but someone's now gone and changed it back in the episode table, so I'm not sure which formatting is correct in this case. I can see that sources tend to format the titles of the specials (Make Your Mark and Winter Wishday) in italics, but Netflix also refers to C1 as an episode (i.e. "C1:E1 Make Your Mark") in the same way as the eight episodes of Chapter 2. Hello,

I recently attempted to add a note mentioning the original voice actresses for Spike in Friendship Is Magic and Pony Life, Cathy Weseluck and Tabitha St. Germain to this article. It was undone [1] with the following edit summary:

Only the voice actors for this seres [sic] should be here.

I disagree because it is the same character in ostensibly the same continuity. It is no different than adding notes for the VAs who played characters in A New Generation which is already being done on this article. DeathTrain (talk) 00:18, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Don't you find that those notes have context-based importance?

That list article is very messy, as it lumps completely unrelated characters together like G3 Rarity with G4 Rarity. It has multiple issues including original research. Friendship is Magic and A New Generation are far more closely related to this series, than say G3 or Tales as once again, they are set in the same continuity. I don't see how this is important context for this series. It is obviously important that those characters have appeared before, but it would not change anything about this series if they had the same or different voice actors. 09:22, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
