The NRA has not been dissolved[edit]

The National Roads Authority – although it does indeed now operate under the name of Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) – has not been dissolved. The Roads Act 2015 provided for the dissolution of the Railway Procurement Agency (RPA) and the transfer of its functions to the Authority, and Statutory Instrument No 297/2015 permitted the NRA to "describe itself for operational purposes" from the date of transfer as Transport Infrastructure Ireland "to better reflect its expanded remit". Nevertheless, the Authority (which continues to be referred to under that name in the 2015 Act) still exists. -- Picapica (talk) 12:09, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
