News article on this Wikipedia article[edit]

I'm sure there was a talk page template for news articles on Wikipedia articles. Can't find it, so I'm just going to post this link. If someone knows the template and wants to add it in, by all means do so.

I generally like articles where politicians are exposed for editing the Wikipedia articles about themselves. In this case I'm not so sure. It looks to me like a possible Joe job (in general I don't usually trust the "Joe job" defense, but this one ...) For one thing the blog Guido Fawkes makes the Daily Mail look like a respectable paper. Somebody is playing around with this article and they should stop. It's unclear who has made these recent edits but WP:SPA and WP:COI are likely to be problems here.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 16:09, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Family[edit]

I'd just like to question the relevance of adding the fact that some of Hudson's family have links to Epping Forest. This information was not present while he was MP for Penrith and The Border, which makes me think that this inclusion is not neutral, because it's trying to show that Hudson is a an adequately local candidate.

With this in mind, I would like to remove this section: "Hudson's mother lives in Theydon Bois and his late father Professor Chris Hudson was a councillor in North Weald, Essex." Ellwat (talk) 20:53, 5 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
