The date are horrible[edit]

The dates in the table listing all the Congressman's and Congresswoman's look horrible. I intend to change it soon, if no one objects. Thanks. America69 (talk) 19:32, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Other candidates in 2018?[edit]

Who are the other candidates besides Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in this district?--Dthomsen8 (talk) 14:45, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of New York's 14th congressional district's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "NYGeneral":

  • From United States House of Representatives elections in New York, 2016: "New York State Official Election Night Results" (PDF). New York Board of Elections. Retrieved December 28, 2016.
  • From United States House of Representatives elections in New York, 2012: http://www.elections.ny.gov/NYSBOE/elections/2012/General/CD_07292013.pdf

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 23:57, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I eliminated all three uses of the named reference, replacing with an unnamed references here for 2012 and 2016. For 2018, I just deleted as the target won't exist until after the November election. If you want to restore the named references, may I suggest disambiguating? E.g. as NYGeneral2016 or General2016. Because the elections are numbered by year. All elections on this page would be from New York, so we don't really need the NY. Mdfst13 (talk) 16:15, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

First Graphic (Map)[edit]

I'm having a problem enlarging that graphic without going into "Save as". I want to enlarge it but not save it. The other graphics don't seem to have this snag. Anyone know what I need to do?Longinus876 (talk) 09:33, 18 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Content Shondaland recently interviewed Michelle to discuss her campaign for Congress in the NY-14 District. MICHELLE CARUSO-CABRERA: I decided to enter politics when [Ocasio-Cortez] did what she did to Amazon. When she threw away those 25,000 jobs, I just couldn’t believe it. To tear away so many jobs for people who really want good jobs — that’s when I started to get into politics. 2600:6C51:407F:D3DB:998F:D0EF:7F8F:E94A (talk) 23:44, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. JTP (talkcontribs) 00:47, 27 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Election Results[edit]

I don't have time to edit right now, but I stumbled across a good source for electoral results (which other people have probably been using for years, but no one has used here). Here's a link for the 1920 election (the earliest available from this source) and the rest of the URLs follow the same format. When I get a few hours, I'll come back and start editing, if no one else has done so by then.
