Garbled definition[edit]

(removed) See https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Nickel_aluminide&type=revision&diff=895214732&oldid=848071480
  1. Firstly - the article intermetallic already exists
  2. Secondly the source seems garbled - specifically "where an alloy phase is ordered if two or more sublattices are required to describe its atomic structure" - this is not a common definition - it references two sources for this statement :
  1. https://www.jstor.org/stable/1703296?seq=1#page_scan_tab_contents
  2. https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/BF03220324

In both the definition is given : "An intermetallic is generally an ordered phase formed between two metallic elements" (second source p.13 top right, first source says the same thing in the first body sentence) .. I didn't find a definition involving "two sublattices"

..given that I'd be tempted to tag the source https://www.osti.gov/servlets/purl/3553 as potentially unreliable - the text is just "wrong" .. 5.198.10.236 (talk) 19:15, 2 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
