Not Safe with Nikki GlaserNot Safe – "with Nikki Glaser" is not a consistent part of the title. The opening warning for example says onscreen (and is similarly narrated by Nikki) "Not Safe is for mature audiences only" (she does not orate her name as part of the show title, just the first 2 words) and the title card stylizes it "NOT SAFE W/ NIKKI GLASER" (check this at http://www.thewrap.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/not-safe-with-nikki-glaser-review.jpg if skeptical). Since there is not even a consistent "with" v "w/" and the last 3 terms are dropped in the warning and Not Safe is a redirect to here anyway it makes sense to shorten this as the WP:COMMONNAME. Adding the "with" part would only make sense if there were different incarnations of the show, like how Daily Show had Jon Stewart and Trevor Noah. Until that point we should use the shorter title. 184.145.18.50 (talk) 16:01, 10 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose "w/" and "with" differences is stylistic, and MOS:SLASH slashes are to be avoided, so this current title is the proper title. The titlecard clearly says "Not Safe with Nikki Glaser"; "Not Safe" has a multitude of uses and clearly not meaning this show [1] -- indeed, it refers to safety and NSFW [2] more than this show -- 70.51.200.135 (talk) 05:31, 11 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per WP:CRITERIA. This is clearly part of the title. In ictu oculi (talk) 07:46, 11 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm retracting my nomination because I can see someone has turned the proposed location into a disambig, was not aware there were 2 songs with this title. That said, 70.51 is wrong because the title is used in isolation without "w/" or "with" in the opening disclaimer and Nikki ONLY ever calls it "Not Safe", I've never heard her call it "with Nikki" but that works as a page title to disambiguate it from the songs. 184.145.18.50 (talk) 00:50, 18 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Removed summary[edit]

@Oshwah: in special:diff/705529924 you removed my summary. You contacted me and said it did not appear constructive. I think you made a mistake. This is an accurate summary of what has happened in this episode. Have you actually watched the show? I would like it if you could restore that please. 184.145.18.50 (talk) 01:05, 18 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, 184.145.18.50 - If you feel that it is a mistake, you can restore it using the History of the article. Your revision has been saved and can be easily retrieved and restored. I apologize if I made a mistake. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 01:08, 18 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Oshwah: thanks, I did so, but then after I added more details it happened again... is this automated like you're running a bot who auto-detects certain words to auto-revert? This show is focused on discussing sexual topics so this might trigger such reactions a lot. I'll revert again since these edits do actually describe the episode contents. 184.145.18.50 (talk) 02:42, 18 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Certain words are given a high score in Huggle (the automated tool that Oshwah is using), your edit contains those words, so editpatrollers will frequently revert it due to having a high score and being assumed to be likely vandalism. - 70.51.46.39 (talk) 07:09, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Talk show?[edit]

Is this considered a talk show? It is currently not categorized as such, but personally I think it is. If it is considered a talk show, then that means that Samantha Bee is no longer the only late night talk show host, and Full Frontal with Samantha Bee should be changed. JDDJS (talk) 03:11, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure if the entire show would be, but it certainly has a talk show portion of it where she sits down with her friends. Not sure what portion of a show has to have that for it to qualify. Maybe more of a 'variety show' since it includes multiple elements like talk, skits, monologues. 184.145.18.50 (talk) 10:52, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not Safe[edit]

What I initially referenced in the prior move nomination was this screen displayed at the start. It shows the title as just "Not Safe", establishing that the other 3 words are merely a SUB title and could have been dropped, if we did not need the space for disambig. WNG is simply kept due to its function as a NATDAB, and also because some TV guides list it this way. 184.145.18.50 (talk) 10:57, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

with or With?[edit]

Should the letter W be uppercased or lowercased? You can see here it displayed in a guide with an uppercase. Do we have a reliable source a lowercase W being official to trump this? Should we move to an uppercase W? In spite of what my guide says I personally prefer the lowercase W since it creates a nice aesthetic divide between the main title and the host name. But aesthetics may not be reason enough if official production is sending it out to TV guides with an uppercase W. 184.145.18.50 (talk) 11:02, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It does not matter much how the show capitalizes the title. WP has its own rules about article title capitalization: WP:NCCAPS. Here, it would depend on if "with N.G." is a subtitle or not.–Dark Cocoa Frosting (talk) 20:59, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
it should definitely remain lowercase, it is a subtitle often ommitted or abbreviated. The start warning is always just Not Safe and everyone on the show just calls it that. Similar to Full Frontal with Samantha Bee. Ranze (talk) 13:56, 15 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Now that 20 have aired it's a good time to discuss exporting the list to a new page. I propose we don't need the optional last part since it isn't necessary to disambiguate from any other Not Safe show, the only other usages we have of this name are songs.
