Things to do[edit]

I created this separate page earlier today as, after entering the titles in the bibliography on the main Nigel Tranter page, it all seem too long and cumbersome. It needs work to make it into a good article Gwinva 21:59, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Things still to do:

1. Improve the introduction to be more descriptive

2. 'early writings': give some explanation of the style of books he wrote at first, and how this led to his later historical books. Discuss how they were received.

3. Give a 'brief' outline of each book under title, and any other relevant information.

4. Consider what links need to be made from this page to others (and back).

Title[edit]

This article's title is a bit misleading as it's only about some of the novels by Nigel Tranter. Either need a new, descriptive one (I couldn't think of a good one when I set up this page) or we could use this as the main page for his novels, and signpost the others off it (ie. link to the historical novels page and create one for westerns etc.) Could also have a main page for his non-fiction, with The Fortified House in Scotland etc linking from there. That would keep the Nigel Tranter page as purely biographical. Gwinva 16:40, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
