POV-section: Causes

This section is highly point of view. In particular, it downplays deliberate choice, and attempts to put the burden on prejudice. Further, it constructs and attacks a straw man of "gender essentialism". I note, in particular, that this phrase is typically used by outsiders in derogative manner, rather than as a self-identifying phrase (similar to e.g. "misandrist", "feminazi", or "pseudo-scientist"). Further, that the opinions of those who do believe in gender difference do not adhere to anything remotely as simplistic as the description given. 94.220.243.191 (talk) 16:47, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
