I don't think this is ready for copyediting. Basically, this looks like a copyright violation for the external page linked at the end. (Order_of_battle brings some insight for the presumptive future copyeditor.) -- era (Talk | History) 01:17, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think this is any new information. This has been made available by specialized people. These order of battles are out there. He didn't create this order of battle. 168.253.21.77 03:41, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This shouldn't be deleted[edit]

The person who posted delete suggestion should look at List of order of battle 71.208.83.204 00:01, 30 June 2007 (UTC) This shouldn't be deleted. Order of battle is like this list. It's not an essay. Look at other order of battles please.[reply]

Unsourced additions[edit]

A recent change by Carlson288 added a number of Japanese officer names etc. What is the source for this addition? I'd like to see a reference quoted. Binksternet (talk) 05:30, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Missing US planes[edit]

This article seems to be more or less copied from the referenced website, but for some reason the number of US planes are not listed here even if they are found from the same page. Japanese side is listed in such detail that it is actually difficult to gather the number of each plane types involved (i.e. how many zeroes, kates, vals). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.156.231.206 (talk) 11:13, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There's a bigger problem: the "OOB" completely omits any Army forces at all. TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 11:03, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

List of United States Navy ships present at Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941 is just a subset of this article, with more details. Clarityfiend (talk) 02:17, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As additional ground forces have been added, I would oppose the merger as proposed.--RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 18:07, 10 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ashore forces[edit]

This article is lacking content regarding ashore forces involved in the defending elements of the Attack on Pearl Harbor.--RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 21:21, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Numbers of aircraft[edit]

I agree re not having numbers of each type of aircraft at the time. Particularly of B-17s, PBYs etc. Presumably acceptable to add totals from reputable sources even if allocation by unit not known. Hugo999 (talk) 23:02, 1 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
