What Anglo-Saxon document does the "nepotes" reference come from? If if it cannot be sourced, it should be deleted!

Alternative family[edit]

Gloucestershire in the 8th century has quite a different ancestry from the one described here. That source has him the son of Alchfrid, son of Oswiu of Northumbria and Kyneburh, daughter of Penda. Any idea which is right? AndrewRT(Talk) 23:47, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Photos on this page are not of Osric's Tomb.[edit]

The Photos on this page are not of Osric's Tomb but of either Eldred, or more probably Abbot Serlo. William Malvern (d. 1539), the last Abbot of Gloucester built a founder's tomb and effigy north-east of the presbytery for King Osric. Osric's remains were moved from the lady chapel to the tomb built by Abbot Malvern according to British History Online. www.british-history.ac.uk/vch/glos/vol4/pp275-288 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.238.202.240 (talk) 12:02, 29 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
