Interesting subject[edit]

"May have been exaggerated"? Yeah, probably an indication of the invention of the first professional press agent on the theatrical scene. There is talk of a film about her life, and an external link is to the history consultant who supplies much bibliographical backup, pure effort on his part. JohnClarknew 01:46, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Nice going, guys, whoever you are[edit]

Having developed the page and seeing it rate a spot at the DYK page, it's been much IMPROVED by unknown users. The uncropped picture is major for the major. Now we can see she was a real lady. Many thanks! JohnClarknew 23:06, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Death Year?[edit]

It says "1893" in the intro, but "1897" in the body. Which is it? FlaviaR (talk) 06:32, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Creeping Vandalism[edit]

This page has been attacked by the worst sort of vandalism, the kind where words or names are changed a bit at time so nobody notices. Whoever is responsible should be banished forever from working privileges at WP. Please help to run such people down, and help to restore pages where necessary. It's a duty.
