justification[edit]
Wow, this is a really bad article currently. The first paragraph needs to provide a LOT more justification for why this article should even exist, such as with many references to being mentioned in literature, notable incidents in the news, etc. Do we need separate articles on pencil chewing, pencil sharpening, finding lost pencils, etc? Why is this worth having a dedicated article for? There is some weaselly use of passive voice too -- get rid of all current uses of the word "been" and put specific citations on all fact claims.
