Fellow of the Royal Society[edit]

The records of the Royal Society list as a fellow "Peniston Boothe" (1681 – 21 September 1765).[1] Because these details almost match I have adjusted an ex-red link at List of Fellows of the Royal Society A,B,C to point here.

Especially if another reference can be found, this should be added to the article. Mark Hurd (talk) 11:23, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

3RR violation[edit]

@Mabelina: quite apart from the 3RR aspect, the problem with this edit was that it contained various changes ranging from blatant Mos violations (eg. capitalising "fellow") to possibly acceptable ones. But since you have long ago exhausted Anglicanus' patience, he was not going to try and sort them out. Totally justifiably he simply reverted the lot. Certainly I would like to hear from Anglicanus whether changing "he was appointed as the Dean of Windsor in 1729" to "Booth served as Dean of Windsor from 1729 until his death" would be acceptable if it was done in isolation. If there are other changes that you would like to argue for, please feel free to do so. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:22, 4 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
