Suggesting move to "Perforated baton"[edit]

Shouldn't be this moved to "Perforated baton" since that latter is the properly English word to designate the object ? On the other hand, in French, bâton de commandement is nowadays largely replaced by bâton percé... Kintaro (talk) 15:08, 7 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Rope making[edit]

Should probably add this source, relevant to examples with spiral grooves around the holes: [1] (and I will, if I remember to).
