February 2020[edit]

The "Political Reporting" section of this article seems to merely be two minor incidents in a career of political reporting, and primarily placed there to show his sparing with hot names on the left of the political spectrum. The section does not chronicle anything of a particular note and I think it should be deleted. NearNRiver (talk) 04:04, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Given that political reporting is a big part of his work, and has generated events noted by other RS, I think it makes sense to have it. Britishfinance (talk) 12:13, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, considering this again, this should be merged under Journalism (as his career is political journalism). Britishfinance (talk) 12:15, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, the old division made it appear that these incidents are the unique times when his reporting touched on politics, as opposed to merely examples. NearNRiver (talk) 03:30, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
