Other Albums[edit]

This article currently lists two albums, namely "Knee-deep In The North Sea" and "Isla", which is more than is mentioned on the artists' page here! mp3Shake.com list a total of four albums to-date. The earliest album there (2006) is listed as a self-titled album (with the same album cover as Knee-deep); I believe it may actually be titled "Gypsy Music", but I have been unable to find a reference to back that up, and the album art that I have just says "Portico Quartet".
Also, for sale on systemrecords.co.uk is a second version of "Isla" with an extra track. It is described as "export only", but there appears to be nothing to stop me purchasing it here, in the UK. Laned130 (talk) 12:07, 28 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You are referring to an "illegal" download site, which is not in interest of the artist. Portico Quartet released the two albums "Isla" and "Knee-deep In the North Sea". Knee-deep.. was "reissued" in 2011 as CD deluxe edition with three live tracks and remixed by John Leckie. It was also the first time released as vinyl version in 2011. There is a "deluxe edition" of "Isla" with one more track. Another official release I know are the "Black & White" sessions: Black & White It is possible that the release you described as "earliest album there (2006)" was an additional CD you got if ordered through the rough trade shop, but I am not sure about that.
