Rules[edit]

If I remember correctly, if a player aligns four similar pieces but fails to announce it by saying "Quarto" (and then gives a piece to his opponent, demonstrating he has not noticed his win), then the other player may announce it instead of playing his piece and win the game. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.244.32.140 (talk) 09:07, August 30, 2007 (UTC)

References?[edit]

Added an {unreferenced} tag as the article lacks any citations. Notably, Blaise Müller is cited as inventor but no source is given; he has no WP entry at this time. It's mentioned that there are "many editions" of the game, but it's unclear whether/in what way the rules vary between editions. Are the rules as stated derived from a particular edition?
