Why was Quintus 'Too young' to go to war in 477?

Livy's claim that Quintus was 'too young' makes no sense. If he was too young to go to war in 477, it would be very unlikely that he would have been old enough to hold a consulship just ten years later. --Al-Nofi (talk) 12:46, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
