Ethnicity[edit]

@Ab207: Hi, the two sources accompanying the sentence, "Rambha was born as Vijayalakshmi in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh on 5 June 1976 into a Telugu family", do not seem to source her ethnicity. Fylindfotberserk, thanks for notifying me. Always tricky to find sources in cases like this when ethnicity conflates with area of work.

This source from NTV Telugu mentions that her mother tongue is Telugu, and this article from Sakshi calls her a Telugu girl who debuted in a Malayalam film. If you prefer a more direct English-language source, This article from Orissa Post says "born to a Telugu film" (although it seems more of a WP:CIRCULAR reference) -- Ab207 (talk) 17:23, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
