Founder[edit]

The article has been edited to give Lawrence Alderson as the founder — the UN Food and Agriculture Organization reference (p2) does agree with this.
The article did give Joe Henson as the founder — the Guardian's Joe Henson obit and BBC item on the MBE both agree with this.

Any published reliable source would be fine, JeremyCherfas, but not personal communication, personal knowledge, hearsay, or stuff like social media. For example, this book by Alderson is not fully independent, but can probably be taken as accurate for the basic history. It says on page 65 that Henson was the first chairman; on page xi, Alderson says that he wass part of the working party that founded the company. According to the company record here, Alderson was a consultant from 2003 to 2007; Henson is not listed there. The entry in the Register of Charities seems not to list anyone but the current trustees. Any further light you can shed would be welcome.
