Untitled[edit]

I would argue Rasmus Pagh meets the WP:NACADEMIC because of how influential Cuckoo hashing has been on the field of Hashing. This can be substantiated through its large number of citations: https://scholar.google.com/scholar?q=Cuckoo+hashing But also through its inclusion in nearly all books covering hashing, such as the Encyclopedia of Algorithms; and the 40k+ hits on google for "Cuckoo hashing". I would argue this shows that the work has not just been significant on the scholarly discipline, but also the practice of software engineering in general.

Requested changes[edit]

  • Specific text to be added or removed: Remove "Rasmus Pagh wrote his Master Thesis with Andreas Bok Andersen on Clustering in bioinformatics for finding eg. functional modules and protein families."
  • Reason for the change: This statement is not true. Andreas Bok Andersen was a student at IT University of Copenhagen.

Done Both done. This all seems pretty uncontroversial. —David Eppstein (talk) 17:40, 14 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
