Hi! I will take this. Sainsf <^>Talk all words 11:37, 19 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Copyvio possiblity: Partial copyvio from [[1]] possible according to Earwig's copyvio detector. Sainsf <^>Talk all words 12:56, 19 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Lead[edit]

  • The first line should begin something like Rob Roy (1922-1928) was a white male. You need not mention the year of birth later on, but keep the year of death as well as the reason.
  • collie dog "dog" may be redundant.
  • known as Coolidge's favorite pet Could be reworded a bit so that this looks a bit less than original research.
  • Can the lead and the article in general be expanded? Looks very short.

Life and death[edit]

  • Introduce Grace Coolidge
  • The "remark" would look better in a quote template.

Mannerisms[edit]

  • "sausage" may be too common to be linked

Legacy[edit]

  • Howard Chandler Christy Who is he?
  • the former First Lady Better mention her by her name
  • an affectionate gaze "affectionate" sounds like original research.

Note: The nominator says he/she is away till the second week of April, so I will keep the article on hold till he/she returns and responds. Sainsf <^>Feel at home 04:17, 24 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sainsf - I've done most of these. A few notes - (a) I'm not sure what you mean by a quote template? It appears to already be in a quote template? (b) I was unable to locate the source of the copyvio. (c) This is literally the opus of information about this dog so there's not much that can be done to expand the article. Keeping in mind the subject of the article was a dog who lived 5.5 years there just isn't volumes of information that have been produced about it. LavaBaron (talk) 20:16, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@LavaBaron: Thanks for the response. It seems the website I mentioned is no more included in the search results, I find no copyvio anymore. It's perfectly fine if you have expanded the article as far as you could. Thanks for the quote template, you added it a month ago. I believe this article an be promoted now. Cheers!
