Dundee and St Andrews[edit]

He cannot have been a lecturer in "Ancient History at the University of Dundee" in 1894, as there was no University of Dundee until 1967. I suspect he was at its predecessor, University College, Dundee at this time, but this creates problems with the next sentence " In 1901 he transferred to the University of St Andrews", as by 1901 University College, Dundee was part of the University of St Andrews, so he would already be a St Andrews employee. Again I suspect what is meant is that he transferred to United College in St Andrews, but would need sources to confirm this. Dunarc (talk) 20:55, 20 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
