Personal life edit[edit]

Notability issues[edit]

I did searches through mainstream newspapers on topics such as general news, music news, entertainment news, and didn't find any hits. I went through the 26 supposed "references" -- which are really just links -- and most of them led nowhere. There were about six which pointed to sources but I can't say how notable these publications are (many were simply pointers to Amazon, to "FindArticles", to company promo brochures, etc). There were no references for Emmy awards. What's disturbing is the length of this supposed article based on rather flimsy sources. My sense is this article is mostly advertising which is contrary to Wikipedia's rules. I'll list the only possible salvageable "references" here:

  • The current concern is less that of notability than that this and associated articles--Skinnyman (studio)--have been constructed by WP:COI accounts. At the very least they fail WP:NEUTRAL guidelines, and in this instance has long been a vanity page. JNW (talk) 02:21, 1 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • I did not set up the Skinnyman (studio) article and have no knowledge of it, but would like help in cleaning up this one. Particularly the reference section.   • I'm calling it a day, but there are more issues here than I can shake a stick at, and a less gentle editor than myself will probably cut the article with far less restraint. Almost nothing is adequately sourced and much of this is comprised of resume or fansite-like listings of the sort routinely maintained by a subject or their associates.     • I've noticed that a lot of the article appears to be copied from the subject's website, hence the copypaste tag, which an IP account is trying to remove. Would you have any connection to this user [1]? JNW (talk) 13:57, 1 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
      • Just noticed that as well. I've stopped removing any tags from this site. I don't know who that IP account belongs to. I think the section listing clients, while probably accurate, could be seen as self-promotion. I also think the skinnyman (studio) site should be removed as appears to have been posted by an employee of the studio.
