Alessandra SabattiniSandra Sabattini – Her real name was Sandra Sabattini, not Alessandra. We both attended Liceo Scientifico Albert Einstein in Rimini, Italy for 5 years, same class. We also were great friends. If necessary ask her brother Raffaele Sabattini MD, working at Ceccarini Hospital in Riccione, Italy at present or his uncle Don Giuseppe Bonini Pamoroll (talk) 19:15, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Correct the name, Please![edit]

Volevo ricordare che il nome di Battesimo è proprio Sandra e non è mai stato Alessandra, nemmeno all'anagrafe! In fase di canonizzazione il nome Sandra non è traducibile in latino, se non con Alexandra, quindi il testo latino necessita dell'uso di Alexandra, ma nella successiva traduzione italiana è erroneamente rimasto Alessandra! E' possibile correggere la voce? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Geppi.San (talkcontribs) 15:01, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • The above Italian run through Google Translate by Station1 (talk) 07:07, 15 October 2019 (UTC):[reply]
I wanted to point out that the name of Baptism is really Sandra and has never been Alessandra, not even at the registry office! In the canonization phase the name Sandra is not translatable into Latin, except with Alexandra, so the Latin text requires the use of Alexandra, but in the subsequent Italian translation Alessandra has mistakenly remained! Can the entry be corrected? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Geppi.San (talkcontribs) 15:01, 14 October 2019 (UTC) [reply]
Yeah, I have found the above Italian comment and removed it along with the nearly identical comment (differing only in one word) by the same user at the top. Thanks for restoring that comment and translating it! GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 15:24, 15 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Done A source addresses this confusion, and the entry now includes a footnote clarifying that she was not called Alessandra. Meanwhile, I have changed any other article in the English Wikipedia that linked to Alessandra Sabattini to link to here. Grazie for the comment! Miracle details[edit]

Found this information about the miracle attributed to her and its details should be added to the article with appropriate refs and templates.
