Proclamation[edit]

The search advertising article was expanded on July 13, 2007. The expanded version retains the initial reference to search advertising being a subset of Internet marketing, although it could be seen as a subset of online marketing, which in turn is a subset of Internet marketing. An argument in favor of retaining the current reference to Internet marketing is that search engine companies provide to expand ad placement from paid search to email ads, which is more clearly a subset of Internet marketing than online marketing.

The Associated Press style for uppercasing the noun ‘Web’ has been used throughout. Lexielaw 07:35, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
