How come that needs a source, but the original pile of crap about Middlemass being a play on George Eliot doesn't need any source at all? You will not find ANYTHING written ANYWHERE where MES makes any comment about George Eliot, or Middlemarch. Just because it has the word "Middle" at the start of the word, what the hell does that have to do with anything?
