Uh, 'codenamed "Second Desk"'?[edit]

Haven't seen the series, but have read the source novels. In https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slow_Horses#Main, surely it's more a matter of the Deputy Director-General being designated 'Second Desk'? Roddy? Hacktivist?[edit]

It's not clear to me at all why Roddy is described as a hacktavist. Sure he's an IT pro with rare skills, and also a massive jerk. What computer good works did he do that he could be described as a hacktavist? There's basically zero of that in the books. Naming Conventions in Episode Summaries[edit]

Is there a reason why River Cartwright is referred to by his first name in the episode summaries while others are referred to by their surnames? If it's to avoid confusion with his grandfather, shouldn't the distinction effort be made when referring to the grandfather, instead of giving River Cartwright the unique treatment? If I may also add, the convention of naming characters by their surnames doesn't always help the communication here. Louisa Guy is consistently referred to as "Guy" in these summaries, but if she is generally referred to as "Louisa" in the script it's a bit of a leap for someone reading the episode summaries.
