It is only fair for me to review this, as you currently have quite a few noms pending! --K. Peake 20:45, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox and lead[edit]

  • Infobox looks good!
  • Change accidental listing of Tyga to Quavo, plus introduce him and Future as fellow rappers
  • "on hos upcoming album" → "on Migos' upcoming fourth studio album," with the wikilink
  • Shouldn't you mention the inspiration in the lead?
  • "his life while Quavo and Future rap about bringing" → "his life, while Quavo and Future rap to bring"
  • The body does not source critics praising the lyrics
  • Wikilink Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs instead, plus add a space before chart

Background[edit]

  • "who was considered a" → "who Pop Smoke considered a" to be specific
Not done Here in the US, 6ix9ine is considered a "snitch" for ratting out on his gang so he didn't spend the rest of his life in prison.
  • "The songs beat was" → "The song's beat was"
  • "because at the time the former was just" → "because at the time, he was only"
  • "put it on his upcoming album" → "put it on his hip hop trio Migos' upcoming fourth studio album" for accuracy, with the pipe
  • "and asked him if he could be" → "and expressed a desire to be" per "Shit, let me go in on it." 2
  • "but did not respond." → "but the rapper did not respond."

Music and lyrics[edit]

  • [6] should be solely at the end of the para, as it's used for the last two sentences
  • "and the chorus while Pop Smoke and Future rap" → "and the chorus, while Pop Smoke and Future both rap" with the pipe
  • "about it (Shh)."" → "about it (Shh)"." per MOS:QUOTE (the source does not have the punctuation inside speech marks)
  • "Future tries to honor" → "Future appears to honor" per the source
  • Cut down the amount quoted from Quavo per WP:OVERQUOTE; it does look like you are trying to "sing the song"

Release and reception[edit]

  • "debut posthumous studio album" → "posthumous debut studio album"
  • Order by thematic element; try to place them praising
  • "standouts and highlights." → "standouts and highlights, respectively."
  • [13][11] should be put in numerical order
  • "opined the song one of more" → "opined that the song is one of the"

Credits and personnel[edit]

  • Songwriter should come before programming per the Tidal order

Charts[edit]

  • Good

References[edit]

  • Copyvio score looks kind of decent at 37.1%; cutting down on Quavo lyrics quoted like I suggested will lower it from being close to a violation
  • Top job with the archiving for these and the layout is fine, consisting of fairly reliable sources!

Final comments and verdict[edit]

  •  On hold until all of the issues are fixed, but shouldn't be long since this is a relatively short article! --K. Peake 08:04, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Kyle Peake Thanks for the comments. I'm so close to making Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon a GT! The Ultimate Boss (talk) 16:44, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The Ultimate Boss  Pass now; you accidentally removed the part about the instrumentation from the lead but I re-added for you! --K. Peake 18:31, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
