Serious POV issues[edit]

An even cursory reading of this article reveals serious POV issues. Briefly, the whole thing--and notably the introduction--reads like copy from the school's brochure. Sister schools?[edit]

Does the sister school relationship with NCSSM still exist? I didn't see a reference to it on the NCSSM page. When I was a senior 96-97 the relationship was started and there was a couple week student exchange. Flamesplash 21:45, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah i was just there and follies are only once a year now.

Also, there is a slight relationship with NCSSM, but not much. My sr. yr. they didnt come here and we didnt go there.

I have attempted to access newsletters but the pdf files wont open. The schools new site scgssm.org posts a lot of material, but it doesnt deal with general aspects of the school.

SCGSSM Class 2009:

  If we have a relationship on any level with NCGSSM, I've never heard of it. 
  Follies is only once a year now. The night before graduation (in May). 
  The current newsletter is basically just a restatement of things already on the website (outstanding scores and stuff) with additional pictures and information about ResLife events. I'm pretty sure they don't post the newsletter online.

Citations[edit]

It would be great if more of the info on the article was actually sited. I realize there isn't much out there covering the general aspects of GSSM. If you find any relevant web resources feel free to post them in the discussion section if you don't necessarily want to incorporate them yourself.

I'm unsure if there's a school paper/newletter currently, but if that were online it might make a good source of information. As it is all the information is mostly hearsay. Flamesplash 18:25, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

After 6 years of being tagged with concerns about the lack of references and similar issues spelled out here for longer than that, I was Wikipedia:Be bold and cleaned this article significantly. It's a lot shorter but thats because I was unable to find references to many of the claims, especially those that read like a yearbook page or promotional material for the school. If any of that material is added back in, it must have references in reliable sources. The largest reference source was the state's standardized report card on the school which is suitable independent to be considered reliable.--RadioFan (talk) 13:59, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
