Please do not add mention of pop cultural references, continuity notes, trivia, or who the targets of a given episode's parody are, without accompanying such material with an inline citation of a reliable, published, secondary source. Adding such material without such sources violates Wikipedia's policies pertaining to Verifiability, No Original Research, and Synthesis.

While a primary source (such as the episode itself, or a screencap or clip from it at South Park Studios) is acceptable for material that is merely descriptive, such as the synopsis, it is not enough to cite a primary source for material that constitutes analytic, evaluative or interpretative claims, such as cultural references in works of satire or parody, because in such cases, such claims are being made by the editor. This is called synthesis, which is a form of original research, and is not permitted on Wikipedia, regardless of whether one thinks the meaning of the reference is "obvious". Sources for such claims must be secondary sources in which reliable persons, such as critics or reviewers, explicitly mention the reference.

In addition, trivial information that is not salient or relevant enough to be incorporated into the major sections of an article should not be included, per WP:PLOTSUMMARIZE and WP:TRIVIA, and this includes the plot summary. As indicated by WP:FILMPLOT, the plot summary is an overview of a work's main events, so avoid any minutiae that is not needed for a reader's understanding of the story's three fundamental elements: plot, characterization and theme. This includes such minutiae as scene-by-scene breakdowns, technical information or detailed explanations of individual gags or lines of dialogue.

Two-part film(s)

@CreecregofLife: This is literally a two-part film, as with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay or Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse; however, they are not independently notable, like Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and Batman: The Long Halloween. Your argument is that each part can't be considered a film? Of course they can, but they are still parts one and two, and not independently notable. 103.84.173.28 (talk) 23:30, 9 December 2021 (UTC)

100% agree with CreecregofLife. These are two separate films/episodes and have had separate press releases and everything. These tv-movies are really at their heart nothing more than extended-length episodes, and the fact that the plot carries over from one to the next is no different than other multi-part South Park episodes including the Imaginationland trilogy for just one example. Like, we were told 14 films. Ippy arbitrarily declaring they’re not independently notable is immediately squashed by that. It’s not 12 films and a two-part film, it’s 14 films. On a personal level, I feel like in order for it to feel less like a multi episode special and a homogenized film is falling between 66 and 88 minutes, or even however beyond 88. Maybe a 63 minute minimum? It can even hit that 90 and higher. I’m sure you can tell what I’m getting at.--CreecregofLife (talk) 04:37, 10 December 2021 (UTC)

actually I kinda agree with that guy. Digimon Adventure tri. is a six part movie series with a continuous story over all six and we do not have six separate articles for that. I would support having these as a combined pageMuur (talk) 06:14, 18 December 2021 (UTC)
