photo[edit]

The text states that the hill is impassable by vehicle "along its entire route" yet the photo shows not one but two cars. So I fixed it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.24.184.134 (talk) 18:25, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Gradient[edit]

The reference says nothing about the gradient at it's steepest point, so I am removing that part of the sentence. One in seven is not particularly steep (many roads open to vehicles are much steeper). I would guess that it's more like one in three at the steepest point, but I can't find a citation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.9.182.31 (talk) 09:44, 12 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Me again. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-38568893 gives a gradient of 16.12°, which is equivalent to 1 in 3.46 or 28.9%, a much more realistic figure. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.69.227.118 (talk) 11:38, 24 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
